RELATED INFORMATION ON SYSTEMS AND LEVEL OF SAFETY AT DE RHU BEACH RESORT

1.0 COMPOSITION AND DISTRIBUTION OF OFFICERS
1.1 Occupational Safety and Health of De Rhu Beach Resort comprises a total of 8 staff:
i. 1 x Head of Department
ii. 1 x Security Supervisor
iii. 5 x Security Guard
iv. 1 x Resort Driver
1.2 Security of the resort and visitors are monitored and supervised within 24 hours and assignments of Security Guard divided into 3 shifts as follows:
i. Morning shift – 07:00 to 15:00 (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM):
a. 1 x Head of Department
b. 1 x Security /Safety Supervisor
c. 1 x Driver Resort
ii. Evening shift – 15:00 to 23:00 (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM):
a. 1 x Security Guard
b. 1 x Driver Resort /Security Guard
iii. Night shift – 23:00 to 07:00 (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM):
a. 1 x Security Guard
b. 1 x Driver Resort /Security Guard
2.0 RESORT VEHICLE
2.1 Security Department provides 2 vehicles for transportation for the staff and visitors to the resort.
i. 1 x Van Nissan Urvan 3.0 cc (Registration no. CDB 7469)
ii. 1 x Nissan Navara 2.7 cc (Registration no.CDE 8369)
2.2 This facility is available for the following purposes:
i. Transport for resort visitors when necessary:
a. Visitors who do not exceed 4 people – CDE 8369
b. Visitors who exceed 5 to 12 people – CDB 7469
ii. Emergency vehicles – used as transport during an emergency case to send the visitors or employees to get treatment to the nearest medical center.
3.0 MONITORING OF SAFETY AND VISIT BY POLICE FORCE
3.1 Every two days, a police vehicle with at least 2 x members will be visiting the resort with aims:
i. Getting the number of visitors who stay at the resort.
ii. Getting the guest group statistics by category of activities such as:
a. Seminar
b. Family Day
c. In-house Guests and various other activities.
iii. Information in the event of any problems or incidents.
4.0 SAFETY MONITORING SYSTEM THROUGH closed circuit television (CCTV)
4.1 The resort is equipped with 66 units of CCTV cameras which are operated and monitored via CCTV Control Room located in the Security Control Post. It operates 24 hours and are regularly monitored and controlled by a Security Guard at all times.
4.2 Camera CCTV Cameras are placed at various strategic locations.
i. Resort area in the building:
a. The main route to the rooms – 14 units.
b. Entrances and exits of the resort – 8 units.
c. Resort lobby area – 6 units.
d. Access to the hall and offices – 10 units.
e. Halls and Cafe – 11 units.
ii. Outdoor area:
a. Exit and Entrance to the resort – 3 units.
b. Car park – 4 units.
c. Gates around the resort – 4 units.
d. The pool area – 3 units.
e. Other areas – 3 units.
5.0 SAFETY INFORMATION THROUGH THE SAFETY BRIEFING
5.1 Each group guest who will carry out any activity in the resort area will be given a Briefing on the safety information by De Rhu’s Security Department.
5.1 This briefing aims to:
i. Explaining security measures in case of emergency such as fire, flood, and so forth.
ii. Explaining risk locations for possible incidents likes pool or beach area, and the security measures when conducting activities at these locations.
iii. Describing the actions of the resort in dealing with cases of accidents or injuries involving customers/ guests:
a. Provision of medical equipment for minor injuries – First Aid Box.
b. Providing emergency vehicles to send customers/ guests to the nearest Medical Center in the event of serious injury.
